Dr. Pietras is a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. His professional areas of interest include skin cancer detection and treatment, and treatments of acne, rosacea, eczema and atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, warts, molluscum, skin allergies and rashes.
“What I love about dermatology is that it allows me to see skin diseases and use my eyes and senses as a tool, rather than relying entirely on technology. It also allows me to work with a full range of patients, from infants to people at the advanced age of 90 and beyond.
“I love the breadth of conditions I can diagnose and treat, from infectious and autoimmune diseases to cancer. Because my father died of melanoma, my interest in detecting and treating cancer before it becomes incurable is as personal as it is professional.”
