Mercy’s Especially For You Health and Wellbeing Event

May 18, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Mercy Medical Center continues its Especially for You series on Women’s Health & Wellbeing, with a special event from 4:30-6:30 p.m. May 18 at the Mercy Women’s Center (Lundy Pavilion, Level 1), 701 10th St. SE, Cedar Rapids.

The public is invited to Mercy Women’s Center for an open house to kick off the 2017 season of the Especially for You (EFY) Race Against Breast Cancer. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to see the unveiling of the 2017 EFY race t-shirt color following an online public voting contest.

Participants can also register for the race, have a mammogram during extended hours (must schedule ahead and have a physician order), register for prizes and pick up a discount coupon for a massage or facial.

Additionally, Mercy health care providers will be on hand to answer questions about the latest breast care imaging, technology and other advancements. The Hall-Perrine Cancer Center’s newest medical oncologist, Ann Stroh, M.D., will also greet visitors and answer questions.

Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
