Mask of Wellness

The MedQuarter Regional Medical District has joined forces with ‘Mask of Wellness’, a nationwide, strategic approach to opening society in a manner promoting wellness socially, physically, and emotionally. Started in Iowa City by two doctors, the grassroots initiative supports re-opening in a safe, ‘COVID conscious’ manner by focusing on three elements of safety:

1. Masks are worn in all areas of the work environment.
2. Hygiene is respected for hands and surfaces.
3. Health – signs of illness are recognized and screened for.

As a medical district, the MedQuarter understands the importance of encouraging patient and customer health and safety in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. As businesses and venues reopen within public health guidelines, it’s important to show patients and customers visiting the MedQuarter organizations are being safe and working to keep people healthy. The MedQuarter is seeking to become the first ‘COVID conscious’ district in the United States by achieving an 80% participation rate, and is encouraging all businesses within the district to sign up at www.maskofwellness.com/get-started.
