Over the past 35 years, YPN’s programming has grown to include not only prenatal & parenting education to young parents; ages 13-27, but also grandparents, Hispanic and African Nationals programming, home visitation services, early literacy initiatives, youth development curriculums and access to the YPN We Care Incentive Shop. All YPN programs and services are focused on empowering families by creating a network of support through education and resources, to build confidence and personal accountability for healthy and successful families. During fiscal year 2019 YPN served more than 1,592 parents, youth and children within our community and helped to distribute more than 164,000 diapers to families in need through the Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank, which is located in the We Care Shop. Participation to YPN programs is FREE to families.
