The History Center Presents New Exhibit Opening May 14
May 14, 2022 - November 5, 2022
The History Center is excited to share a new exhibit with the community. When disaster strikes, first responders with the proper training and equipment run toward the danger, bringing help and hope along with them. Running Towards Danger explores the history of local firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and law enforcement.
The COVID-19 pandemic and derecho reminded many people of how important first responders on the frontline of public safety are. Linn County has well over 100 years of stories of firefighters, police, paramedics, and EMTs risking their lives to help people in emergency situations. This exhibit celebrates the contributions of first responders through the years.
Running Towards Danger is available for viewing May 14 through November 5, 2022.
